This is still happening with xserver-xorg-input-evdev 1:2.7.0-0ubuntu1.2 . Downgrade to 2.6.99.901-1ubuntu3~lp921236_amd64 also still works. For what it's worth, I think this bug is not actually https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47395, but
