The bug was solved downstream, see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23916 The patch for kernel 2.6.33 is provided here http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/intel-gfx/2010-March/006188.html But unfortunatelly it did not make it to the lucid release.
