jovan dragisic, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
tully - you have different hardware with a different driver so you
should file a new bug. However your issue may be fixed by the upcoming
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.16.0 driver - see

Hrm. I was trying to find out the status of this bug and I think in my
browsing to find out why it isn't confirmed yet, I actually set it to
confirmed. Is launchpad always this wide open?

the issue is not KDE related. I just added fglrx to Ubuntu Natty, and going
into fullscreen and exiting made X hang. This is with hw acceleration.
dmesg from the hang appended.

After installing fglrx through jockey, the situation is thus. I can run
flash videos in full screen with hw acceleration in Chrome, And exit
them normally. I can run them in firefox, but upon exit, i get an allout
lockup of X again. Due to a mistake I made, i can't get back to KDE from
tty1. Will
Just confirming, the allout screen tearing happens when trying to watch
full screen flash videos in Arora as well.

Weird, this time I did get Firefox to run the flash video fullscreen.
After I exited fullscreen, I got the flash code written all over my
desktop, burned into it, so to speak. Then I tried Chrome, did get
fullscreen, but right after I exited, there was complete lockdown again.
dmesg output
