I've found a silly workaround. I do a two finger tap just after boot,
before any other interaction with the touchscreen.

My ExoPC (running Ubuntu 11.04 with xserver-xorg-input-evdev
1:2.6.0-1ubuntu12 and an eGalax 0eef:72a1 touchscreen) is also affected
by this problem, and I can consistently reproduce it.
It seems that ginn reliably recognizes two-finger gestures if both
fingers make contact with the screen at

Same problem with ExoPc, same configuration. Touchscreen is eGalax
(0eef:72a1). Freezes when trying two fingers gestures, really often.
Have to reboot. Works great in evince. Not reproducible when Ginn is
activated in command line.

The single finger scrolling is hell slow!
I installd previous version of evdev from here:

The latest wokring driver version is: 1:2.6.0-1ubuntu6 without freezing
and
Correction:
1:2.6.0-1ubuntu6 is working with multitouch-recognition and it acts as defined
in wishes.xml(ginn).
The cursor freezing is not reproducible.
