Hi Dan, according to the upstream bug report this fix was included in xserver 1.10.4, which is what we're carrying in oneiric, so presumably this issue is now fixed? Likely this is worth backporting for natty as well which also has a 1.10.x xserver; maverick may be a more challenging backport
