ubuntu 12.04 amd64 here with libxi6 1.5.99.3-0ubuntu2; natural scroll
does not work in gtk/gnome apps (like everyone else it seems); but
XIScrollClasses increment is shown correctly as 137.0. So I believe
natural scrolling bug might not be really a result of this bug.

i'm sorry .. i was to soon with my post. i confirm in 32-bit it still
does not work. Adding schema addition of mouse_up or mouse_down in gconf
settings for nautilus will also not bring new behaviour. ( i thought
lets give it a try).

xmodmap -e pointer = 1 2 3 5 4 7 6 8 9 10 11 12 should do the trick
for all apps. It's like nautilus does not listen to X .
