As a workaround, add an entry in /etc/hosts for
fpdownload.macromedia.com to a webserver you control. Then, download
install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz to a directory under your webserver
root to satisfy the package's wget command:
http://Your-Webserver-
Well with a confirmed status it is definitely going to be addressed! :-)

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: snes9express
In the repos many different old versions of snes9x can be found. There
is currently a new version (1.51) available in a Launchpad PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~bearoso/+archive
It is actively maintained, which cannot be said from the cruft
I implemented the workaround:
sudo apt-get install libjpeg62
openjdk-6-jre depends on libjpeg62, so this is meaningless.
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.62 /usr/lib/libjpeg.so
wrong:
$ grep -r 'dlopen.*jpeg'
openjdk/openjdk/jdk/src/share/native/sun/awt/image/jpeg/imageioJPEG.c:void

Hi,
If there is a new version of snes9x that should be uploaded then please
open a bug on snes9s, attach the .diff.gz from the updated source package,
and then subscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors.
To have things removed from the archive file a bug explaining why it should
be removed, and then
Great to see this being worked on!!! I have 0.8.1 installed on mine
because I built it from source and that worked great. Looking forward
to the Jaunty release and glad to hear that dvd-slideshow is being kept
up dated! Thanks!
