I have been able to reproduce this bug a lot of times today, by just
dragging a file from nautilus and dropping it into gwget. I tried
different kinds of files (html, tgz, exe, png), with the same results.

I am using the Java eToken from Aladdin and ver 4.55 middleware.
I found that using the latest version of pcscd works (1.5.3) when running the
compiled binary with the existing 1.4.102 already installed. (the package from
aladdin requires it to be installed)
When will pcscd in ubuntu repository
The patch listed two comments above also enables build, installation and
functionality on Jaunty. Thanks all who contributed to the solution!
All this bug seems to need to be fixed is packaging, it seems. Please
consider patching the version included in the repositories!

This is an old bug report, but I also ran into this issue. The cups-pdf
package allows CUPS to directly have a pdf printer. When I installed it,
it provides a ppd file (/etc/cups/ppd) with the margins settings all the
way to the edge of the paper with the code

Problem seems solved here by removing numpy and opengl
(sudo apt-get remove numpy, python-opengl), and reinstalling.

I own a fujitsu u810 that has a problem using the external display. This
problem has appeared when moving to Jaunty, since the external monitor
was working ok in ubuntu 8.04.

I just made the test using cpuburn. The system stayed stable during 5 min at
nearly 70°C (didn't want to test any longer...) while soundkonverter crashed at

I upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04 two weeks and I just came across this problem
today for the first time.
All of a sudden some of the keyboard mappings just stopped working, e.g.,

filesystem (in ~/plugins/ ?). Please find all files with the name

I followed fuhrysteve's command and it worked for me. Also crashing was
galeon. I've attached the gdb output. Turns out the complete
resolution was to search for xulrunner in synaptic and remove ALL
packages that made reference to version 1.8.x, even the dev ones. After
that action, FF3.5 and
A workaround was uploaded for a similar problem. Can you please enable
jaunty-proposed and update, and see if that makes the issue go away?
