John this is not a forum.
It looks as though you have not built the array properly with the BIOS utility.
Also you could have formatted the /dev/sdb to something else and erased the

I don't know how the comma-separated (CSV) file format could support
return characters in text fields, or if it should. Maybe quotes around
the text would allow it. I need to check what other programs such as
FileMaker do.

settings manager does need to have the 'commands' plug in enabled. Go to

I fixed the problem finally. I had to call the seahorse program (which
is the keyring manager in gnome) so I had to delete the login password
in the keyring. Then I went to empathy, saved my gtalk password and the
keyring asked me to put new password for the keyring.

I ran this on Jaunty and found this problem, and I changed root to uuid
as I was aware of the bug beforehand.
However when choosing the option to load Grub2 from Grub-Legacy, I just
get a Welcome to grub! message, followed by error: no such disk. I
get a grub recovery prompt then, and when using
KMS, composite, and UXA seem to be okay, so this sounds like a compiz
bug. Can you please attach ~/.xsession-errors after a failed attempt to
start compiz? How did you try to enable it? (Start by default, as in
Jaunty, or in the system preferences menu, etc.)?

Removing --no-floppy isnt really a fix, to fix it grub2 should be
installed to the right mbr, dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc and choosing the
correct device(s) to install to for instance
