the sql injection vulnerability has been included in Debian.

I also got rid of gnome-panel and I'm using Stalonetray. This bug occurs
quite often to me. Sometimes also the tray doesn't appear, and it looks
like the network manager icon won't appear later on if there's no tray
when it starts.

I have the same issues: when I add xchat in Startup applications then the
icon wont appear.
When i run xchat manually then notification area icon appears and works as
expected.
If then run killall killall gnome-panel then xchat icon disappears.

Luke I notice this was supposed to be added for jaunty but it's yet to

Yes, the segmentation fault might be caused by the broken Record
extension of the X server. I still cannot believe how the developers of
xorg could break such an important extension which is used by dozens of
applications. On the other hand I'm very disappointed to see this broken
X server version
You can use gtkmozembed in place of webkit to have a workaround
sudo aptitude remove python-webkit
sudo aptitude install python-gtkmozembed
Then run gramps.
You should not have this problem anymore.
If the problem always occurs, it's a gramps problem.
If it doesn't, it's a webkit problem.

the same behavior here with a intel 855GM graphic chip and the karmic
release. Only booting with acpi=off option helps so that X is not
freezing anymore, the boot option nomodeset does not change anything,
X will still freeze after a while.
