I had the same problem, it was fixed by adding if_match_bug 1 to
/etc/davfs2.conf. I think the reason is that in webdav 1.4 the default

For now I use the following workaround in two steps.
1.) Using mythtranscode with lossless qualtity (retains all audio tracks!) for
cutting out commercials.
2.) Using mythexport to encode to mpeg4 and copy the desired audio track.
Here is an example mythexport-setup (Device=Custom).

vlc always on top does not work when returning from fullscreen
the package sun-java6-bin wouldn't install from the update-manager, but
then I used synaptic package manager and choose from edit menu fix
broken packages and it worked!

I have just had this problem today for the first time. Using Kile
2.0.84 on Ubuntu 9.04, 64 bit. I am using an external keyboard with a
laptop but they are both standard English language keyboards. I tried
alt-tab and restarting kile but no effect. Suddenly the only key that
works in Kile is

It seems to me, that this bug only occurs with locale de_AT.UTF-8.
So a workaround would be setting the locale to C:
LANG=C pdftk ...
If this does not work or other locales are affected too, please inform me.
The bug seems to be in libgcj10, not in pdftk or libitext.
