If i install alpha1, then apt-get upgrade, there is no problem. If I do
apt-get dist-upgrade, machine freezes. Booting with a recovery cd, and
changing GRUB to let me select which kernel to boot, and choosing the
old (2.6.32-7) kernel, everything is fine.

it's likely binfmt-support for mono-handled binaries. Either it's
needed to run some binaries during installation, in which case vmbuilder
should handle binfmt-support specially by stopping it after installation
of packages, or it's not really needed and vmbuilder can just avoid it
from starting.

I tried to mount iso dvd image with mount -o loop instead AcetoneISO and
OGMRip 0.13.3 works fine with Automatic Compressibility Test enabled.
I think that the issue is fuseiso because if I start the movie after
that iso dvd image has been mounted with AcetoneISO or Ubuntu's storage

I can confirm this bug. While I can set an option to suspend or
hibernate when hitting the right buttons on the desktop computer, there
is no place to tell it how long before it should suspend/hibernate. I
don't have a laptop to compare to, but there should be something to tell
it how long to wait
I haven't used this particular package -- but I know from experience that disks
can only have 4 *primary* partitions, of which one can be an *extended*
partition in which you can create as many secondary partitions as you like.
Maybe the same rules apply for virtual disks too?
