After I've updated some components of Ubuntu with the update manager, I
've rebooted the system. Then, when i wrote my password to load Ubuntu,
after one minute an icon of crash has appeared. I hope this can be
useful but I don't know which components I've installed and which
removed!

Would also like to see this fixed for karmic. Using python-vmbuilder
0.11.3-0ubuntu1 and the same error occurs when trying to use a 10G LVM
volume as a --raw device. I assume this is the same bug.
sudo vmbuilder kvm ubuntu --debug --verbose -m 2048 --raw=/dev/mapper/vg
--storage-lv--chat_root
This is fixed in Debian version of usb-modeswitch-data (20100127-1).

Do you have the sound plugin option?
No.
This Bug still exits in Karmic Koala.
It can be solved easily by adding the user at the lp group but it is
very enerving and costs a lot of time to find this out.
Please fix this issue for the lts release.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ejabberd
The node name is not determined correctly if /bin/sh is linked to dash.
This problem occurs in current karmic as in the debian sid version (I installed
manually).
As a side effect /etc/init.d/ejabberd reports a failed start.
Please check the newly synced version for
