to private triggers this. FWIW, I can make the change in LP itself

this change was touching an existing package in an existing version and
thus would be exempt from FeatureFreeze.
With the door to lucid closed, I have now come to the conclusion that

Binary package hint: apt-proxy
seems like Debian apt-proxy has been revived from the dead recently.
The old version was very buggy (and made me abandon apt-proxy). I think
Ubuntu should try to merge (or even sync?) the version released by the
new Debian maintainers in

Evan, what a lame comment!
People have been posting left and right that they rebuilt the packages
in their PPA or elsewhere. If there is no immediately obvious candidate
at the moment that is only because sponsorship has been dragging on so
long without anything ever happening. I'm currently
BTW, the Ubuntu package used to have a delta towards Debian. I don't
have time to look through it right now, but I'd appreciate if one of the
many people interested in this package were to take a quick glance to
make sure there is nothing in there that is still relevant for RC6.

Is this possibly the reason pbuilder-dist does not work for me at all in
karmic?
