Duration: 11 months+
Description:
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered
“works made for hire” and are the property of the TXDMV. TXDMV may
include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and
their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as
authorized by the Texas law. TxDMV
will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during
the process of selecting a Worker(s).
The Worker will participate as a team member on the Business Process
Analysis (BPA) phase which is a key component of the TxDMV Automation
System Project. BPA was chartered to review and document current
TxDMV business processes and identify future state opportunities for
improvements that will; enable TxDMV to provide exceptional service to
customers and stakeholders (e.g., tax assessor-ollectors, motor
carriers, auto dealers and the motoring public); comply with
legislative mandates; and, support motoring public and law enforcement
needs by protecting the safety of citizens through accurate and
real-time data.
• Services of the worker(s) shall include, but are not limited to, the
tasks listed below:
• Develop and document business requirements and current and future
business process workflows.
• Facilitates business requirements work sessions including
discussions using internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct business process workflow and requirements gathering.
• Conduct validation process to ensure all current business process
workflow and requirements are accurate and complete.
• Perform and document gap analysis on current and future business
process workflows..
• Communicate between end-users and technical areas to ensure
functional and non-functional business needs are captured in the
business requirements.
• Develops the Business Requirements Document (BRD) when required.
• Perform analysis on future processes to determine impact and risk to
organization on various dimensions including competency/skills,
knowledge and communications.
• Provides regular status reports of work performed to Project
management and TxDMV executives.
• Transfers knowledge and skills to TxDMV staff.

5 Business gap analysis and documentation
5 Organizational Change Management (OCM)

Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
7 BA with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience within
the last
seven (7) years performing business analysis on a BPA project.
2 Have working knowledge using Business Process
Management Suite
(BPMS) tools.
