look at wiki's how-to http://wiki.apache.org/nutch/PluginCentral and http://wiki.apache.org/nutch/WritingPluginExample-0.9 it might be outdated since current nutch versions use ivy which adds some more configuration to nutch but just do the same things which are done in nearby plugins. Best
