Hi Joan, Yes we have CPU Cap enabled. Is it better for us to turn it off? FYI this VM is quite large, 32Core 128GB running on AMD7713. We also have other VMs that manage to show CPU utilisation about 50% with CPU Cap turned on btw. Im not sure if this info helps? Regards, Palash On Wed, 7

Palash, Does CPU Capping enabled in compute offering? We are observing similar issues in VM with cpu capping. Joan. On Wed, 7 Feb, 2024, 10:33 Palash Biswas, wrote: > Hi Daan, > > We measure by using Zabbix Agent inside the VM. Zabbix Agent is calling > these keys for accurate CPU

Hi Daan, We measure by using Zabbix Agent inside the VM. Zabbix Agent is calling these keys for accurate CPU Utilisation. Windows: perf_counter["\Processor(_Total)\% Processor Time",1] Linux : mpstat 1 1 | awk '/Average:/ {print 100-$NF}' This VM has 32Core, 128GB RAM Regards, Palash On

Palash, Are you logged in to the VM while measuring? That might explain (part) of the difference. What utilisation are you referring to? (cpu mem) In the case of CPU; how many cpus are you measuring? (i.e. 95 ≃ 50*2) On Tue, Feb 6, 2024 at 3:29 PM Palash Biswas wrote: > Hi Community, > > I have

Hi Community, I have a VM. When i monitor the contents of the VM, it shows the utilisation is 95% and above. But from Cloudstack Metrics, it shows only 50% Max Utilisation. How does Cloudstack monitor the VM Metrics (CPU and Memory). Is there any way to make it more accurate? My Vm stats
