Does Kannel 1.4.1 (stable version) supports automatic conversion of internal kannel charset to UTF-8? I found a patch by Alexander Malysh at: http://www.kannel.org/~amalysh/kannel-utf8.patch http://www.kannel.org/~amalysh/kannel-utf8.patch but does the stable 1.4.1 version include it already?

Wavecom Throughput

I am exploring the costs of sending sms using a couple of modems or just pushing them onto a third party sms provider. How many outgoing text messages can a wavecom modem handle, and is it possible to use kannel to send them using alternative modems finally I suppose I would ask if it is easy
