Hi,
I am currently connected to two different SMSCs using Kannel. I am sending
binary data to both connections.
On my first smsc I am receiving the UDH and the payload correctly:
2007-01-29 15:53:37 Receive SMS [SMSC:SMPP:**:8010/8010:**:**]
[SVC:] [ACT:] [BINF:]
Does Kannel 1.4.1 (stable version) supports automatic conversion of
internal kannel charset to UTF-8?
I found a patch by Alexander Malysh at:
http://www.kannel.org/~amalysh/kannel-utf8.patch
http://www.kannel.org/~amalysh/kannel-utf8.patch but does the stable
1.4.1 version include it already?
mhmhm
are you sure your path to the executables is /etc/kannel/bearerbox and
/etc/kannel/smsbox??
was this a typo on your e-mail, or on your script??
or do you really have the executables on /etc/kannel??
Regards,
Juan

I am exploring the costs of sending sms using a couple of modems or just
pushing them onto a third party sms provider.
How many outgoing text messages can a wavecom modem handle, and is it
possible to use kannel to send them using alternative modems
finally I suppose I would ask if it is easy
Hello all -- has anybody had any success with using TPOA (or similar) to
