We most use password less ssh authentication and in our /etc/ldap.conf
file we have bellow line
uri ldap://auth1.uk..lan/ ldap://auth2.uk..lan/
Now problem is, if there is any issues auth auth1 , Authentication failes
Theoretically, if auth1 failes then authentication should come
Since my last system includes a TPM I'm curious as to what is the real
world usage of it in Linux.
I've read that Truecrypt choose not to use TPMs
So, anything else? using it to encrypt my Mozilla password store?

Login as root
passwd user 'your_new_pass'
type it again 'your_new_pass'
Once it says password successfully changed type in exit then CTRL+F1
to go back to the GUI and login as usual
The DM (display manager) has nothing to do with your password as user
