Problems with Fedora 27 on Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e

I have a ThinkPad Yoga 11e running Fedora. A couple of months or so prior to the Fedora 27 release, some updates to Fedora 26 introduced some problems. They are thus: The touchpad stopped working. The touch screen still works fine; but an update rendered the touchpad unresponsive. Restart
