fc34: no power up on reboot after kernel upgrade

FC34 on a headless server. If I upgrade the kernel and reboot, the machine will not power up. I can manually power it up without a problem. Also, no problem rebooting without a kernel upgrade. Any help appreciated. sean ___ users mailing list --
