REQUIREMENT DETAILS: *Position: UNIX Administrator* *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Responsibilities:* Provide support for UNIX servers running Oracle Solaris 10, including installation, maintenance, virtualization, hardware and software troubleshooting. Able to install, configure, patch and troubleshoot a Solaris 10 server. Able to create, configure, and troubleshoot Solaris 10 LDOMS and Containers. Able to configure and troubleshoot Solaris 10 SPARC hardware (T-series, M-series and Blade), including network and SAN connectivity. Provide support for IBM WebSphere 7 running on Solaris 10 platform, including installation, maintenance, clustering and troubleshooting. Provide support for SOA infrastructure running on Solaris 10 platform, including installation, maintenance, clustering and troubleshooting. Required Skills: Experience working independently and with a group to manage, maintain and build Solaris environments to support multiple projects. Experience in multitasking to support project needs and technical issues as they arise. Knowledge and experience supporting/troubleshooting WebSphere and Solaris 10 SPARC hardware, software, and supporting/troubleshooting network and SAN connectivity. Knowledge and experience with LDAP, ACU, DataPower, and WebSeal.
