There is also a web-based e-mail client that reads the Maildir
directly (without having to install an IMAP or POP server), and that

I can't see any of my email addresses, but I can see all the aliases
with qmailadmin.
Any info on what the problem could be?

I would think that recoding a PHP script would be easier to do than
editing source files for vpopmail, as with the next upgrade your
vpopmail will overwrite the changes you made. So i would personally
suggest, change the php script.
I guess it might be the only way.
