BTW, I have been using 5.3.29 in production for quite some time and it
does
work really well. (One running RH 7.3 the other running SuSE 8.2)
You may not be using pop-before-smpt ..if you have used that with x.3.29 you
would have been in trouble .
Gir'H
what about smpt auth .. is it ok with this release

This should fix all known problems with 5.3.29.

HELP! I have been working with this for the last three days and I am out of
ideas. I cannot get ip-alias-domains to work. I have mapped a domain to an
IP address using vipmap.
vipmail -a 66.94.78.22 worldnetoh.com
Then I telnet to the server and try to authenticate.
telnet 66.94.78.22 110

Yes. It was probably referred to as POP before SMTP in the ChangeLog
instead of roaming users.

We haven't had any problems with SMTP AUTH in the 5.3.30 release or
most of the recent releases.

I tried this in the past and I just tried it again. It does not help. I am
not putting worldnetoh.com in this file because it is not my default domain.
It is simply a virtual domain which needs to be mapped to an IP. Unless I am
supposed to put every domain which I vipmap into this file, then I

Title: Export one domain from mysql to another
Hello guys is there a way to export one domain from my vpopmail (mysql) so I can move it to another server.
Thanks,
Title: Export one domain from mysql to another
You
can always run vconvert on the domain and pull the sql stuff down to a cdb
file, Then move the files over to the new server and run vconvert again to
stuff the domain into the new DB.

Use the 'diff' program to generate a patch and submit it to the SourceForge site.

Hello, guys
a minor bug, perhaps, I've just upgraded vpopmail from 5.2.1 to 5.2.2, but
when I login to qmailadmin or vqadmin I still get vpopmail 5.2.1
displayed as if that is current version that is being used.

Hi all,
I'm new on the list and I've got a problem that archive, Google, and brain
searches have failed to rectify:
My server has existing /etc/passwd accounts with existing e-mail traffic.
I've just added vpopmail to simplify future account administration since the
server's usage is

I am doing something like this now, it's
working great. you can tell vconvert to only
do one domain.. You convert to cdb then create the
domain on the new server with
any old password then you use vconvert to convert
the info from the cdb file
