There should be a way to deinterlace your footage in PE. But I don't

Is it just me? I don't quite get what France is trying to do. You can
burn songs you download from the iTunes Store to a CD and then rip

No. The DRM is defeated when you burn to AIFF files on a CD. Then you
can rip and play them on any player. Why should Apple license their

According to DMCA (which is not international law), breaking DRM is

There is similar legislation in a EU directive (and EU member states are
expected to modify their local legislation so it follows the directive). I
know Denmark has changed their laws so breaking DRM is mostly illegal here
too.

No iTunes proprietary system that sells music that can be sold on a

monopolistic practice, and monopolies are bad for business. It's a

The other thing about iTunes/iPod is that no one else can sell
copy-protected music for the iPod because iPod only supports Apple's
DRM (which Apple does not allow anyone else to use). So its a
completely closed system. No one else can sell copy-protected files

Where do we fit in? Well, with podcasting we tried our hardest to make
sure we used a non-DRM semi-open format (mp3) so with videoblogging, can
we do the same? Should we do the same?
I think the reason for using MP3 for podcasting had little to do with
DRM and more to do with interoperability.

Yes this works well too. And much nicer than Youtube where they

that is nice about it is that they make the flash versions directly

Hello,Apple could take away that ability -- the ability to burn AIFF files on CD's -- at any time. (And people have conjectured that Apple is planning on doing this once iTunes becomes popular enough and they have a strong degree of lock in and integration in general.)
