I just noticed that Quicktime export settings has both iPod and iPhone.
What are you using?

Report back! The times I've tried it, the ipod setting doesn't make it to
the iPhone... so I have either been using the iphone setting or both, and
just adding a link under the iphone video.
What are you finding?

I use the iPod settings in Compressor.
I figure the LCD is iPod, not iPhone, so it should work on both. I
haven't heard from anyone that they couldn't watch my MOVs on their
iPhones.

Ah. Finally: a court case to test the CC.
My only question to Professor Lessig at his virtual Second Life lecture in

No.
Thanks for posting, Rupert. I will follow this case with interest.

This is not a copyright issue. Virgin are in the clear copyright-wise

privacy and misappropriation (or likeness for commercial use) issue, as
you mention yourself when you say that the problem is the lack of a model

I got a letter suggesting 3 programs that I thought I would mention -
Anim9tor - Corel's Cool 3D and Dollysoft.
I also found a 2D programt that was actually more of what I had in
mind - it's Toon Boom Studio. It's only $ 149 with an academic
discount, and it really looks good.

reason why Virgin is getting sued is because the person in the picture did not

different for the original license agreement that CC provided
if you plan to take pictures of strangers and you're going to receive any
income from that, you need to have a commerical purpose consent form signed

Actually this is still a grey area. This area where it is NOT grey is when
