just got a Xacti HD2, I'm enjoying it!
I'll post video from it soon.
I'm still stuck with dial-up, but I'm able to upload video to Blip.TV,
after hours of up-trickle.

I like my Xacti! I expect you are looking for a Windows solution?
I would use MP4Cam2Avi to make mp4 into avi. Then I'd import into
Virtualdub and fiddle with the framerate settings. I have not needed
to do this, but I'm confident it will work. You can export frames as
well as AVI files. Good
I use MPEG Streamclip to export multi-pass H.264 AVC MP4 files that
play in the QuickTime Alternative Firefox plugin.
My Xacti captures 640 x 480 MP4 videos. I prepare the video for final
compression in AVC H.264 with various Virtualdub filters. Inbetween,
I save out normal, big video files.
Virtualdub, for your windows pc, will load frames, play and save them
as avi movies. You just need to name them like picture0001.jpg,
picture0002.jpeg, etc, and load them into virtualdub. So I read in an
unofficial virtualdub forum. Here somewhere...

Has anyone used a Nokia internet tablet with an online video editing
app like jumpcut?
I'm imaging this work-flow:
1) shoot some video
2) pop the SD card from my Xacti C-6 into one of the two N800 SD slots
3) upload my MP4s over wifi access to a video editing web-app site
4) use the browser to

I see my H.264 compressed .mov file produced in MPEG Streamclip looks far
better in the newest VLC than when running under the 3ivx decoder in
other media players. In VLC, the sky apears as a smooth gradient,
while in other players, the 3ivx decoding shows aliasing, flickering

After learning about MPEG Streamclip editor, I wiped QuickTime off my
system and installed QuickTime replacement. That solved the problems
of upgrade to QT Pro nagware, MPEG2 decoding and fullscreen playback
of QT files-- except that my players wouldn't play my .MP4 extension
files anymore!

Hi, Vloggers.
I'm building a list of items to include in my on-the go vlogging
backpacking kit. Please edit this list as you see fit, to make an OTG
videokit for the pedestrian or hiking videographer.
No need for a space for a camcorder, my Xacti c-6 goes in my pocket or
on my neck.

Hi, I'm Brad in Alaska, lurker of a few months.
I can get broadband soon, and I've gotten started using a Sanyo Xacti
C-6 a few weeks ago. I prefer to not own a car, and so the little
Xacti fits my lifestyle.
