the Canon XHA1 is a great camera. i love it. shoots in 24P, 30P and
60i HD, 1080p.

i recently bought a Canon HV-20 to complement my larger camera, the
Canon XHA1.
i usually shoot in 24P mode with the XHA1.
i was under the impression that the HV-20 could shoot in 24P, but i
now learn that it shoots in a 'sort-of 24P' mode that is then
'wrapped' in a 60i
i use a form made available by the Podcast Brothers. i don't want to
be the starting point of some ranting screed here, but i think its
smart to explain to people ahead of time that you will request that
they sign one. i find it helpful to email it to them a few days
before a shoot.

then I saw that Steve of JetSet was using it. and it if was robust
enought for Steve and Zadi, that was a definite plus.

it looks like people aren't into the idea of a forum type group, but
i've been working on a Ning.com site for Gardenfork and
RealWorldGreen and it can send emails when new items are posted, and
has some integration with Facebook and Twitter. and you can post videos.

I guess I'm one of the minority here who are creating content that
has commercial potential, though Gardenfork.tv does promote organic
practices.
Just from reading your post and the subsequent replies I learned a

i'd like to create a blog on Gardenfork where i upload cell phone
photos.
any suggestions? i think one platform is called Showzu? and i think
one can do it with flicker.

most of my viewers have NO idea what an RSS feed is. they either
subscribe thru iTunes, check the site weekly, OR the sign up for an
email alert that I send out when a new show is posted. I find having
the viewers subscribe to something you control works best for me.
