Aloha mai!
Just got a blast from Apple on recommended settings for video podcasts
to look good on the Apple TV as well as their portable devices. It

recommending for the widescreen aspect for both Apple TV and
iPods/iPhones, but... won't that look less clear than the full 720?
Or is it possible that with the right settings, 640x360 would look

Its pretty much confirmed with Apple's recent announcement about
Youtbe Apple TV support, that this means youtube will be offering
videos in the h264 format. Initially it will be popular videos, and
new uploads, that are available in h264, starting sometime this month,

What are your carefully crafted settings?
I have *never* used the crappy Export to iPod option with its lack of
customization.
But using either custom H264, MP4 or 3ivx settings, all my videos
have synced fine with my iPod.
If you can say what your settings are, I'll compare with what

few months but don't have HD service, so the Apple TV is the best looking
video source in the house. It's only a matter of time before Apple sells
HD content direct, but I've
