I shoot videos on my Xacti HD2 1280x720 30 fps 6Mbps... no problem.
I transfer them to my iMac 1.83 Dup Core... no problem.
But I have a REAL timesuck when I convert them in FinalCut Express.
It takes 20 minutes for me to render a 2 minute video.

Try using Quicktime Pro to convert it to a DV stream first, the import
it into FCE.
