My understanding is that the backdoor was there and now gone. I just tried it
and couldn't get in.
In my experience, the people at Brightcove are not interested in assisting
anyone not paying for their service. Sorry.

We didn't own it, it was content of one of our founders via a hosted event
(posted by someone else). I had delicious'ed the link, and just needed it this
afternoon to place on angelsoft - to find out that brightcove's now defunkt in
the consumer market. Wasn't ever too keen on their quality of

We used Brightcove before we used Blip.tv. At the beginning we were
self hosting. Then we got invited to be a brightcove beta partner
and someone told me that was a big deal. So we went with them for
awhile. It's a pretty robust tool if you've got a lot of content
that you're trying to
