On several occasions, politicians from both parties questioned whether the bill should be so expansive as to include bloggers. Some bristled at the notion that the ease of publishing online could provide cover for those who want to leak sensitive information and get away with it. I'd say anyone who didn't want to face legal action would immediately try to put up a blog and try to get journalistic protection, said Rep. I have a very technical program, was supposed to be with the Science Group. (didn't happen because of intense security, due to Egypt president Mubarak observing there). But, I took this day to be more human interact with fellow eclipse-chasers. I spent some time with the Indonesian group, they were very well equipped with photographic equipment. Whether it was: - small hotel in Cairo (free Internet, courtesy to guests) - condo in Marsa Matrouh (free dialup) - Bedouin home in Sallum (free dialup) - Internet Cafe in Sallum (sharing over a dialup connection!!?) - Internet Cafe in Dahab/Red Sea (high bandwidth) - Web geeks @Frankfurt Int'l airport http://solareclipse.textamerica.com/?_ctgry=23127 - Connexion satellite Internet on Lufthansa flight (LIVE blogging!) http://solareclipse.textamerica.com/?_ctgry=23126 I just now realized I should have had a presentation of the above made at last weekend's Pixelodeon. Mobile-Blogging Video-Blogging at March 29/06 Egypt Eclipse...massive Culture Science experience I should have had someone at least do it for me..NUTS!!
