16:9 ratio doesnt bother me since that's the format I shoot in all the
time. I do hear you though. If I shot in 4:3 I would be ticked if that
happened to my stuff.

What is bothering me about Network2 right now is that they are
upscaling my videos to a display size larger than what they are
encoded at. Thus successfully making my stuff look like crap. Not so
happy about that in the least.
