Anyone have a good source of replacement electrolytic surface mount caps? I

Our 3rd family computer was a Quadra 660AV. Great machine, we used it for
years. It actually was replaced by a TAM on my dad's desk. A few times, we
attached our home camcorder via S-Video to record short flicks. Really cool

Utilized an SD card reader on my iMac G4 under OS 9 to format it and make
sure it had an Apple Partition Map. Lido will only recognize SCSI drives
(at least the version I have). Is there a later one? I can't get Drive
Setup to run on the 637 because I have System 7.1 on it. There doesn't even

the thing doesn't seem to work at all. Has anyone had any luck with a

Now for finding the monitor: been looking for something reasonable to
attach this thing to. The Apple 15" Studio Display w/ VGA connector seems
to go for some serious cash for some reason, so that is out. Most PC
monitors look like crap, and I'd have to revamp them to make them look
decent.

Another question: once I have this case built out of acrylic, provide

to have a 2GB card. If not, I have an old iMac with 10.4 on it;
partitioning a larger one into 2GB sectors with HFS will not be an issue. I

Everyone had the right suspicions: TWO of my HDs had failed, that's where I was
thrown off. Thankfully, one of my PowerMac 6100s was nice enough to give up its
HD, and that works fine. Many thanks for all of the help. Also, that SCSI to

I'll check the voltage, the unfortunate thing is that mine has two
soldered-in batteries. I've never taken out anything like that...would I
unsolder from the battery terminals themselves, or from the board? Come to
think of it, can I really check the voltage with the thing soldered in

Looking at the Service Source manual that one of you guys supplied, I
noticed that they recommend replacing the soldered batteries with a
battery holder board, implying that there is a board that was a service
