I bought a mac classic that had been password protected by Disk Lock
version 1.0.1. The owner did not know the password as this computer
was given to her by someone who did not tell her the password. Is
there anyway to get past/crack this

Never had an emac but wikipedia shows it has a usb port.
most of emacs have usb 1, that is very slow, but all have a firewire port:
is not easy to find an external hard disk with, but is recommended,
otherwise, if you have internal cd or better dvd burner

moreover a laptop that was dismissed about 14 years ago you can
run 9 natively also in a more recent G4 or even more
I have a G4 MDD with OS 9.2.2 I cant get iTunes to play. When I click the
play button nothing happens,

I was given what has turned out to be a Mid 2002 12" 700 Mhz G3 iBook with
30 gig hard drive, 256 meg RAM and an AirPort card. No charger so no idea
if it works. Maxing the RAM with a 512meg PC100 SODIMM = easy. Hard drive
upgrade, not so much.
