Hi Dennis,
They can just submit the update with previous functionality removed, see if
Apple approves it, and if they don't approve it, the dev can just put back
the functionality and resubmit it. I don't think this is an issue where
the developer would need to consult a lawyer. There's no risk
Mike, I'm glad you came up with a workable solution. Would you mind indulging me and adding corp to your pronunciation dictionary with corpe as its substituted word? I'm just curious how your synth handles this and it will be a lot easier for you to check than for me to change my synth to test it.
Can’t speak for the Voice Dream team, but it’s usually a whole lot easier just
to submit and let Apple approve or send back any changes that need to be made
during the submission process.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

One time, after an update, for some crazy reason, my cellular data was cut off,
and I have unlimited. That kind of thing is an unnecessary problem, which is
annoying to me, but regardless of whether I liked it or not, it was what it
was. I just don't get though, why changes take places in
I would think Voicedream has lawyers that reviewed the developer agreement at
length. I suspect they are able to do this.

Hi All,
Well I took a different route and instead of using Corporation in the Add
field I inserted, Lab Corporation, and the replacement field I inserted, Lab
Core, and now it's reading the way I want it to.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go Dodgers!

If you’re talking about the change they made when the app changed ownership, I
never interpreted that to be a life time guarantee. I always just assumed that
applied to the changes they were making at the time. Of course, my opinion is
irrelevant.

Hi All,
Running iOS 17.4.1 on an SE2022 phone, and I can't get pronunciations to

I've tried inputting both words into the Add field and both words into the
substitution field with all combinations, but I can't get Corp to be spoken

Apple advisors have been known to get things wrong, it will be interesting to
hear what others hear about this. I called Apple about the voice dream
situation, as to whether they could disable part of their app if we don't

There are three settings one needs to turn off, unless you know that you want
them on. Turn off wifi assist, which switches to cellular when wifi is weak,
icloud drive which uses cellular to transfer data to icloud if wifi is weak,
and icloud backup which uses cellular if wifi is weak. These
Hey Arnold, taking away the ability to add to the library is a fundamental
change to the app, removing functionality I paid for. The app will not
remain the same.

I interpreted what they said to mean that everything about the app prior to subscription would continue to work. The only change would be that one no longer could add new content for it to read, and none of the new features would be added. Arnold Schmidt Sent from Arnold's iPhone S E 3On Apr 1,
Hi Group,
On two of my iPhones, with the update a few weeks ago to IOS 17.4, after the
reboot after installing, apparently, both iPhones had changed my setting from
cellular data/off to cellular data/on. I have a 1 GB data limit. I did not
notice that this had happened until I got a
Hey Christopher, no, I absolutely appreciate your opinion, please don't

very difficult. However, the only thing I have an issue with is willfully

Unfortunately the App Store is deceiving regarding this.
It will display the logo if any of in-app purchases or subscriptions
supports this.
So it is entirely possible that what you reported is correct - there are
other in-app purchases from the old version of the app that have Family

This is not to debate the new subscription plan. This is a question regarding

You’re right, if they just let the existing app die on the vine, and they put
out a new app, then it wouldn’t be much of a burden to them. I was assuming
they’d still just have one app that would start including the new functionality
for the subscribers but leave the existing functionality for
