it seems that you have been able to install debian under bhyve and normally this is not possible to achieve. Which kind of tutorial did you follow ? you know that bhyve is missing the uefi variables and you need to apply a trick. I'm not sure if your problem is related to that bhyve's behavior.

Hello Julie. As I said some days ago,I'm trying to install homeassistant. For the moment I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 that I have installed on the Jetson nano,but later I will use Ubuntu within bhyve on FreeBSD. Unfortunately,a developer,I suppose,told me that homeassistant is not supported on ubuntu.
