Hi all,
I've been postponing these for a while now, and given that Weston 14 is
still in development with some in-flight changes, think it would good to
have at least an intermediary, bug-fix release, for Weston 13,
respectively Weston 12.
Next week, 23 of April, 2024, I'd like to cut both trees

Hi all,
I'd like to announce a new point release schedule for Weston 12 and
Weston 11. There's a pending Weston 13 release as well, but at
this point we still have some in-flight changes to take care of, which
combined with the holidays, would probably make more sense to have the
new release

Hi,
According to the previous schedule, a new Weston release is due today.
However, we've decided to push back the release. We'd want to merge a
few more bug fixes before the 11.0 release.
The new schedule is as follows:
- RC2: September 15th
- First possible release: September 22nd
As usual,

Hi all,
It's been a while since the last Wayland release. Wayland is pretty
mature now and its release cycle is independent from Weston's. No new
major feature has been accepted, but smaller changes and fixes have
been merged. A new release will allow us to roll these out.

Hi,
wayland-protocols is not part of this release plan. It is much more
free to release at arbitrary times and usually does not go through a
freeze period
Any chance of the XDG decoration protocol being part of this release plan?

Hi all,
Our last release for wayland and weston was April 9th, and there has
been some talk on IRC about release schedules, so maybe it's time to
start planning for the next one.
Previously it looks like we've been on a 6 month cycle with releases in

Hello,
It looks like most of what's been proposed as "high priority" for this
release has landed and we're in a good place for another wayland/weston
release.
The tentative schedule is:
February 26th - Alpha
March 19th - Beta
April 2nd - RC1
With our first potential release date being April
Hi,
The last release v1.12 is released on September 2016.
I expected that the v1.13 will be released on Jan 2017.
But there are no ongoing release activities, e.g. release candidate tags etc.
Did wayland release schedule change ?
Best regards
