Safari on the iPad apparently sends a mobile useragent string which web2py uses to tailor the UI. As a result I do not see a way to get, for example, the form on the admin screen (the one that you can use to start a new app). Is there a way to get to this form on the mobile UI? Better yet, is there a way to force web2py to talk to the iPad as a desktop browser regardless of the useragent string that mobile Safari sends?
