Sascha added a comment. Perhaps the QRank signal might be helpful here? The signal is computed in the Wikimedia cloud infrastructure (Toolforge) and gets periodically refreshed. It’s just aggregated pageviews, but I found it pretty useful in my own projects. - Site:
