Lectrician1 added a comment. This is a VERY good idea. It's crazy that we have a function to provide entity links already in Wikibase (the `HtmlPageLinkRendererEnd` hook) but be rely on templates for user-generated links. Switching over will have the benefit of less strain on rendering
