I agree when I was designing my page I was enjoying using the cods as I always
do I enjoy the programming cods I wasn't thinking of UPE I just knew about it
at the end of my work and I like the idea not in a competitive way just for fun
and if we developed it as Nilie and Wayn said it would be
how we can use wikieducator offline for studies and building up our
own content ?
i am new to this wikieducator
i want to use wikieducator for learning in my whole college and for my
own learning

Steve,
Suggestions and feedback from the WE community is very helpful. I understand
that fun means having no plans and just letting things happen.

Hi Nellie
I'm taking a page from your book :o)
Promote, promote, promote.
At the outset, the intention was to encourage WikiEducators to

is now gone. I did say this in the discussion tab
Before beginning an entry on images, I want to be certain that image is not
included in another category of which I am unaware. This topic may have been

I just tweeted the purpose and address of the wiki; might get more to take a

Hi Everyone,
Another way, is to install Open Office on your computer, and then write up
the document in OO, and save it to a .txt file in mediawiki format, and then
copy and paste it into a wiki page, when you're online.

And still more options include:
- You can experiment with taking collections of pages from
WikiEducator and deploying them in an LMS within your institution.

- Using the export and import functions of MediaWiki to export pages
of interest from
Score at least one for Twitter. Thanks for the heads up.

Hey Randy
An overview of twitter is available here -

And of course you can follow them - http://twitter.com/CommonCraft
As for who else to follow, well, the sky's the limit (not quite, there's
only about 6 million people on twitter). Start with a local search
Peter,
I agree that we should focus on upgrading the current structure ASAP. Many
of my colleagues are opting for pbwiki and wikispaces because they are
finding WE too difficult and to use.

Hi Alison,
Thanks - it's great to be part of a community where there's support for my
skillset that isn't exactly where I'd like it to be...
Newbies to our community are sometimes shy or intimidated about posting
requests for informationI am glad to receive such a quick response.
Thanks
