Yes this looks a lot like graphics driver problem. I also had these issues on
my old laptop with similar hardware. (I don't own that anymore though, and no
intel graphics anymore)

One thing that can be tries in XFCE to work around the issue is Disabling
composition, in settings -> Window manager tweaks -> composition tab.

At present we also have graphics/drm-61-kmod on FreeBSD 14.0 You should really
try upgrading and test that too.


Apart from this you should report the issue to the drm developers, since that's
where something maybe can be done:
