startup and you can paste strings like mouse move 100,100,

problematic since you would have to choose the window to send the events

The xset-tool (IMHO) only provides two different speeds, one for slow move
and one for fast. But what I am looking for, is a really dynamic
(non-linear) mouse, i.e. something like a (user-defined) built-in v^2

I don't see any fatal error in that log file. It looks like you
don't have the DRI's kernel module installed (drm), but I suspect
you don't actually need that and the dri warnings would go away
if you didn't load the dri module in the XF86Config file.

You appear to have edited your XF86Config file with an editor
that does DOS-style linefeeds instead of Unix ones. You need to
retype the line that features EndSection^M with at unix-based text
editor. Or perhaps running dos2unix on the file is adequate if
you have dos2unix on your system.
