Most of the Debian patches from the 2016 release are included upstream. I don't
think I missed anything. If you notice any specific things I missed then let me
know.
I was asking because it seems that the -10 entry in the debian/changelog is missing that's mean that some bugs closed in that upload are now considered not fixed in unstable.

My plan had been to not update git until the next upstream release. That
version I uploaded was to facilitate testing not for Buster. But I might revise
that decision depending on how long it takes.
I wanted to look at #885771 (that prevents installing the -dev package) and #888967, but I don't know if you already fixed them. Could you maybe address this in an upcoming upload?

Did you saw that 20180114 has been release?

Hello Russell,

Is it expected that the 2.20171228-1 upload doesn't seems to contain
the
changes of the 2.20161023.1-10 one?

Do you think it's possible to update the git repository with the last
changes? It's a bit difficult to follow the changes that are happening
(and also to be able to contribute) with out that.

Kind regards,

Laurent
