The pre-built sqlite3 shell tool for x86 Linux available for download here:
http://www.sqlite.org/download.html does not include readline support. Which makes it painful to use. Does anyone think that many systems would be affected if it dynamically linked against the system readline? This means that the binary would not work on systems without libreadline.so installed. Or is readline considered ubiquitous by now? Dan.
