An Evening with Greg Pak, Director of Robot Stories

Locus Arts and the National Asian American Telecommunications
Association (NAATA) present a night of short films by Greg Pak, award-
winning writer and director. The night will open with a reception for
his highly anticipated award-winning first feature film, ROBOT
STORIES, starring Tamlyn Tomita and Sab Shimono, which will open in
San Francisco theaters on Friday, April 16th, 2004.

Winner of over 23 awards, "ROBOT STORIES" is science fiction from the
heart, four stories in which utterly human characters struggle to
connect in a world of robot babies, robot toys, android office
workers, and digital immortality.

The reception will be followed by the screening of Greg Pak’s short
films “Asian Pride Porn,” “All Amateur Ecstasy,” “Fighting Grandpa,”
as well as “The Robot Fixer,” a segment from “Robot Stories.” The
audience will also have an opportunity to participate in a Q&A session
with the filmmaker himself.

ABOUT THE FILMS:

most earth-shattering climaxes of their lives -- with a twist.

“Fighting Grandpa” (1998, 21 minutes) - A young filmmaker searches for
