OK, well my specific suggestion would be to put capitalized text in the description of the support list address stating not to post user IDs or passwords in any mail sent to that address. I see it already shows in bold text that it is a *public* mailing list, I can confidently say that I have spoken to many people who do not know what that means without it being explained to them, so perhaps a short sentence saying that any message they send to it is read by a large number of people and that IM user IDs and passwords MUST not be sent to the list.
