There isn't such a thing as a Pidgin password. You get your password for the Oracle instant messaging server from whoever in Oracle manages that server.
This is a peer support mailing list for a piece of open source software. We have no knowledge of how Oracle's internal systems work.
Please suggest to whoever you find how they could avoid this misdirection happening in future.
