Hi Alex, Unfortunately the version of GTK we use on Windows versions of Pidgin isn't new enough to support emoji characters. As a workaround you can use one of the unicode emoji emote themes, eg https://github.com/stv0g/unicode-emoji or https://github.com/VxJasonxV/emoji-for-pidgin
